Welcome to Wikipedia!
Please don't let the nomination of the article on DemonWare for deletion discourage you from working on it - it's very unlikely that it'll actually be deleted. You've handled the problem in exactly the right way, by jumping right in and addressing people's concerns; and you've got a couple of strong "keep" votes, so you're pretty safe now. There's a bureaucratic process to run through, so the deletion notice will probably stay for another four or five days, but that's not a sign that we don't want the article!
Also, if there are other topics here you're interested in, you might like to improve some other articles while you're here: our material on gaming is nowhere near comprehensive, so there's lots you could do. You might like to check out WikiProject Computer and video games for some ideas.
Again, welcome to Wikipedia, and don't let the unfortunate beginning get you down - we do value your contributions.

If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Non-free use disputed for Image:Demonware logo.gif
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Demonware logo.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:04, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Demonware logo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Demonware logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:17, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
